To kickstart our season of Summer events, post-exams, come along and enjoy one of the highlights in the RGS Music calendar – our annual outdoors “Jazz in the Quad”.
It will feature an eclectic range of music, representing all sorts of genres. Most importantly, we will be featuring and saying farewell to many of our Year 13 Leavers performing in their final RGS event. It will also be a farewell to Mr Mullaly, our current Director of Music, after six years at the RGS.
Groups participating include: Trad Jazz, 1st Wind Band, Big Band, Swing Band, Close Harmony (and a mini Close Harmony of Junior students performing for the first time!), a Junior Orchestra (combining all 2nd Wind Band and Junior Strings players), and even some staff performers (perhaps even a few alumni) and more!

All funds raised go to supporting the RGS Music Department
• Bring your own picnic, table, chairs and rugs – there will be no BBQ but snacks, crisps, chocolate, sweets and ice creams will be available to buy.
• A bar will be available.
• Cake Sale – if you would like to donate a cake for the sale, please bring it with you on the day.
• Parking in Uplyme Car Park

Tickets will be sold on a first come first serviced basis.
If tickets are still available on the day, they will be charged at £12 for adults and £7 for students.
